Aperture and Depth of Field
Aperture: How much a lens opens to receive light and take it in for a picture, it can be changed by it's f-stop number, the lower the number, the more the aperture will receive light and have a shorter depth of field. The higher the number, the darker the photo will become and the deeper the depth of field will be.
Depth of Field: A distance or area of space from a certain depth to another that the camera makes clear and in-focus, outside of it, the area will look blurry.
